Scrub is an old skin peeling remedy that is used for facial treatments. The main idea is deep cleansing of facial skin and any dead cells. Skin becomes smooth, clean, tender, velvety-gentle and full of oxygen after scrub use.
There is a base and lots of particles for peeling in scrub. Gel or any other cream can be used for a base. At home you can use sour cream, olive oil, raw eggs, honey and many other products that look like cream as a base. Peeling particles could be grind nuts, fruit seeds, dry orange peel pieces, dry tea leaves, coffee, oats, brown sugar, wheat bran, sea salt and even egg shells.
Of course you can say why bother - go to the shop and buy it. You can. But these are unique scrubs and you will know exactly what is in them.
Most of coffee scrubs are made out of natural not instant coffees. Or the particles left after making coffee can be used. I prefer to use just fresh grind coffee beans. There are some useful recipes here:
Mix your grind coffee with cottage cheese (like fat ricotta for example) Place the mass on your face and gently scrub it for 1-2 min. Leave it on your face for another 10 min and wash it off with very cold water. Always use cold water for washing your face.
Mix grind coffee, sea salt and grind cinnamon. Add a table spoon of olive oil and one tea spoon of brown sugar. Mix everything well and put it on your face gently massaging it. Wash it off in 10 min with cold water.
This is the best mask for you to refresh yourself very quickly to look young and energetic. Add some little amount of boiling water into your dry grind coffee. Add some grind walnuts. Massage this mixture into your skin and leave it for 10-15 min. Wash it off with cold water.
There is also a very good facial remedy: a mixture of zucchini juice and cold brewed coffee.
You can achieve a natural sun tan look using coffee too. The coffee needs to be well grind for this. Add some hot water in and apply this mixture on your face. leave it for 10 minutes. Or just wash your face every morning with freshly brewed coffee. This procedure tones and refresh your skin.
For oily skin use yogurt mixing it with some grind coffee. Massage your face for 1-2 min and then wash it off with cold water. For dry skin replace yogurt with sour cream or just double cream.
There is a nice recipe for normal skin. Use half a table spoon of grind coffee mix with half a grind spoon of sour cream and one tea spoon of olive oil. Apply the mask on your skin and leave it for 10 min. Scrub it off and you will notice that your skin became darker in color.
Kefir (butter milk) can be used instead of sour cream for oily skin. The mask is also kept for 10 min on your face and then is washed off with cold water.
For all skin types. Brew and drink your coffee. Use what is left on the bottom of your turkish coffee cup - mix it with oats and add some sour cream if you have a dry skin and use yogurt - for oily skin. Wash you face and do not dry it with a towel - just scrub it with this mixture for 2 min.
Take 1 table spoon of freshly grind coffee. Mix it with 2 table spoons of freshly grind apple or grapes. Apply the mixture on your skin and leave it for 10 min. Wash it off with cold water. It's good for oily and normal skin
To keep your skin fresh, healthy and blush: freeze some ice pieces made out of brewed coffee and use them every morning to wash your face with.
2 spoons of white, green or blue clay is mixed up with 1 spoon of coffee and one tea spoon of dry grind orange skin. Pore some hot water inside this mixture, get some baking soda (a tip of a tea spoon) and add just a drop of apple cider in it. Mix it once again. Apply of your face and keep for 7-8 min. Wash off with cold water.
1 table spoon of coffee mix with a table spoon of sea salt. Add some sour cream, one tbl spoon of olive oil and a bit of milk. If your skin is oily add some yogurt instead of sour cream and water instead of milk. Massage your face for two minutes.
Against wrinkles. 1 tbl spoon of rye flour plus cold brewed coffee from the bottom of your cup. Add 1 egg yolk. Mix it up and apply on your skin. Keep for 10-15 min and wash it off with cold water.
Make your self some natural (not instant) coffee with milk and sugar. Use the bottom of the cup mixture on your facial skin. Use a fresh milk, condensed milk would not work in this case.
For aging skin. Add 1 tea spoon of honey into your bottom of the cup coffee remainings. Add the same amount of sour cream and one raw egg. Mix it up. Apply on your face for 15 min and wash it off with cold water.
For any skin type. 2 tea spoons of grind coffee mix up with the same amount of rice flour. Add milk for dry skin and for oily skin - add sour milk or butter milk.
