I have been to Chanoyu Spa for treatments many times now, I know these hands, but it is always a new experience for me. We all come for treatments with our own moods, be it stress or happiness, sadness or joy or all of them in one package. For a good massage specialist it is the matter of not creating something better out of us but only balancing what is already there. A massage therapist, Anne at Chanoyu Urban Retreat starts her full body massage with a cup of warming up sencha tea. It is a special blend that prepares you to the experience of bliss. It has a pinch of rice in it, a tiny but tasty piece of Japan indeed. Ready I am and I feel she will get very deep and will see my soul too. I am left for a couple of minutes alone to get prepared and to sneak under the blanket. Anne greets me again with the warm words. Her hands start from my shoulders and go in the directions only known by a specialist but I follow the hands and try to understand what Anne and my body is telling me. It hurts in some places a lot - I guess there are blockages there that need to be looked after. They are the blockages that accumulated from the mental stress, physical labour and unpleasant thoughts. Anne knows exactly where to go. She is a driver, a a geographical traveler with the maps of my physical image, the me materialised. She probably already feels when happened and when as an observer from the driver's seat. But she goes beyond that too. Her sensitivity of what needs to be focused on in my body is unbelievable... The calming music, the smell of the scents and the oils aroma take me to the world where the words are silent, movements are still and thoughts are short and sweet. Now asked to turn around I lie on my back. When my legs, hands and arms are touched I float away - Anne is the master in this I have to admit... Dozing away I do not remember the rest of the session only to wake up by a soft "How do you feel now?" question. I should not answer - she knows already the answer and another cup of tea is offered to me - it is stronger than the first one and has got even more flavour to ground me down. Visions came and vanished but I tried not to think about anything during my session. I have been to many massage practioners before - men and women, friends and strangers. I prefer the women's touch to be honest only because they feel more and deeper but with Anne it is also as if she knows me for a longer time than our memory tells us and they are not these only 6 years. Being also very sensitive to the energy I would not trust anyone to touch my physical body as it is also an exchange of energy. Your massage therapist takes a lot on herself when she uses her hands. Many of them have exhausting days if the client is broken or stressed and disturbed. It is important that we are aware of that when we go to see such practitioners - it is all about the exchange of energies - and in this case the compatibility and whom do you choose to work on your body is very important. I believe I found my perfect one at Anne's Spa. Anne, I am looking forward for more now and can not wait. I am very grateful for everything! More to that : when you finish your treatment you can always have a good Japanese meal in the restaurant downstairs. Anything with the name finishing with "don" will do!
OMG!!! Probably Armani / Georgio Armani himself would say "Si" to this perfume! "Yes" because it is Armani I guess... never bought the Armani for females in our house but have heaps for men here... I guess my first in Armani lines... and it is classy: I am getting addicted to this one! sweet and very seductive aroma: vanilla, woody (not allen), fruity and spicy. It has the creamy citrus zest and the blackberry powderyness in it. top notes: black currant with the middles notes of rose and white freesia, base: vanilla woodsy patchouli ambroxan. It is a SI for me dear Georgio! Thanking gorgeous Lucie Stauff for getting it for me last night - direct from Paris' Armani shop where she worked for some months - that was the manager's gift that ended up in Canterbury Melbourne. I am speechless.. .thank you Lucie! It is coming in a very delicate bottle with the black lead - reminding me of some finely made perfumes we used to buy back in Russia. love it!

This project is devoted to one of the most beautiful and graceful animals on the planet: horse.
There is something prehistoric in the look of this incredible creature. The connection between humans and horses is also legendary. Man's life seems almost impossible without horses. Many artworks in poetry, visual, music, literature, sculpture, performing etc are inspired by these species The intellect of the horses is beyond any possible understanding. Our ancestors thought that humans got reincarnated from horses who served man for generations on so many levels of life. In these photos we would like to highlight this connection that will be sensual, spiritual and artistic at the same time.
The horse that is featured in the photos is TírnanÓg. The name translated from Irish means "The Land Of Youth" and comes from the ancient Irish Mythology. The land is depicted as a supernatural realm of everlasting youth, beauty, health, abundance and joy. According to the tale one day Oisín, a human hero, a great warrior, a son of legendary Fionn Mac Cumhaill, a leader of Fianna – a group of great protectors who guarded High King of Ireland, sees a beautiful white horse in distance, and on its back was most beautiful young woman they had ever seen. Her hair are color of sun, and fell to her waist, and she wears a dress of palest blue studded with stars. She is surrounded by a golden light. “My name is Niamh,” says goldenhaired maiden, “my father is King of mystical land of TírNanÓg, a land that knows no sorrow and where nobody ever ages. I have heard wonderful things of a great warrior named Oisín, and I have come to take him with me back to Land of Eternal Youth.” A woman of the Otherworld, Oisin and a human Niamh fall in love. She brings him to TírnanÓg, The Land Of Youth on a magical horse that can travel over water. After spending what seems to be three years there, Oisín becomes homesick and wants to return to Ireland. Niamh reluctantly lets him return on the magical horse, but warns him never to touch the ground. When he returns, he finds that 300 years have passed in Ireland. Oisín falls from the horse. He instantly becomes elderly, as the years catch up with him, and he quickly dies of old age.

During the years of my traveling I noticed one very interesting thing: some bags just ask you to take them and see the world, and some are just created to be kept at home.
