MISS WORLD AUSTRALIA research has begun Review by Hima Himani
Miss World Australia, a renowned national beauty pageant represented Australia in International platform since 2002. The current Miss World Australia is Sarah Marschke from Sydney, New South Wales who will compete at the Miss World 2019. The Miss World 2019 Pageant will be held on 14 December 2019 in London, England.
Preparation has already started for the search of Miss World Australia 2020. The selection process of the New South Wales preliminary final was held at Sir Stamford Circular Quay on 13 October 2019.
Victoria state segment for Miss World Australia contest took place with full enthusiasm on 19th Oct at The Trust Melbourne.
Sandra Horne who was MC of the evening presented the event beautifully. Sander is a professional MC who enjoy hosting fashion event with purpose.
Thirty beautiful and talented girls age between 17 to 26 years, from divers background were competing for the state final, selected winners would compete for national final. Total 17 girls got through to national final, 15 were seclected by scores and extra two girls were selected on the basis of maximum fund raise. It was a tough competition from judges point of view as many of them have similarity.
1. Jony Berry ( Mr World Australia 2019)
Jony Berry current title holder of Mr World Australia was one of the Judges for Victorian segment, his said it was tight scores as many girls possess the similar qualities which made it a tough competition. Although Mr Berry looked for that extra spark which was expresse through contestants eyes. He believes eyes are windows of the soul, they express both internal and external beauty.
2. Deanne Firth (auditor ) One of the experts on auditing, she was keeping close eyes on the scores for the night . Denne has seven years experience with Miss World Australia. She is an entrepreneur who runs her auditing business successfully. She likes raising funds, enjoys the work behind beauty with purpose and loves making difference. She feels proud to be a part of the organisation which involves the divers community and raise funds for variety club.
3. Stephanie oh
Marketing manager of Novo shoes Melbourne. It's her second year on judging panel, she mentioned that she is getting better in judging, she also thought many girls had similar qualities. She said future Miss World Australia would be the brand ambassador of Novo, so Stephanie was definitely looking for that confidence, ability to speak well. The quality one possesses enable an individual to stand, hold and portrait a givin message as she mentioned. Her view was how contestants response to the question holds the hugh value and their answer could differentiate the scores.
4. Deborah Miller
Director of Miss World Australia Deborah as director she wanted every single girl to have fun and enjoy themself whether one will win or lose. She mentioned that the Miss World Australian is charity based pagent, so thoes who could not make for the national final still continue their journey for fund raising and they may have second chance to compete for the final.

World Fashion Festival Awards 2019 (3rd Edition)
World Fashion Festival Awards Dubai 2019 was held in Sofitel the Palm Resort & SPA Palm Jumeirah, Dubai on 4th and 5th of Oct. The festival was officially opened by His Royal Highness Sheikh Obaid Bin Suhail al Maktoum who was a chief guest of the festival. WFFA celebrates the ‘Year of Tolerance’ 2019 to continued to reflect Sheikh Zayed’s vision on building the bridge of communication and friendship between multicultural people in a respectful environment that rejects extremism and emphasizes on the acceptance of the other. The world fashion festival awards 2019 has delivered 3rd edition of a successful event over two days, it's uniqueness was to combine art, beauty,cultural and fashion from all around the world under one event, the essence of the event to connected people, spread message of unity and multiculturalism. On the same time this platform gave a hugh opportunity to promote brands, products, services and profiles, successfully bringing everyone together under one umbrella, creating a unique and direct bond between the world-wide designers and the high-end customers and buyers from UAE Region.
The festival provided an unique platform, presenting the business and fashion pavilion where all brands and fashion designers attended having the opportunity to meet face to face with International retailers, vendors, buyers, for direct business and joint ventures. International artists and world-wide award winning designers took part of this precious event, this platform credited opportunity for 30 models from 17 countries to shine up on the ramp, designers from four different contestants and 120 media partners from all around the world. Also WFFA is givig wonderful platform for selected young models (children ) all around the world , an excellent opportunity to shine and build their profile.
UAE Royal members, distinguished guests, international artists, media personalities and Diplomats from New Zealand, Fiji, Peru, Italy, Romania, Sri Lanka, France, Tunisia and Kazakhstan were VIP guests for prestigious occasion and inaugurating the fashion festival awards show.
Red carpet was dazzling with beautiful classy people of UAE, among them I met a very humble personality Imad Fattouch, celebrity make-up artists from Lebanon and based in Dubai, also a peace ambassador of 2018. He was one of the high profile guest and well connect personality. He has worked with many Arab celebrities, famous models and brand. He was quite impressed with the festival and his view was this kind of event connect people together and build friendship between multicultural people. It was great honour to represent Australia magazine in International platform and to get connected with multicultural people all around the world. It was a great opportunity as well as a fatatic experience.
Make up master was held on 4th Oct . Hosted by repudiated make-up artist Paula Goia, the trophy winner of the WFFA best fashion look (Makeup & Hair) and the trophy winner of WFFA best hair stylist for avantgarde look.
The Masterclass was 'step by step' class to help achieve that effortless glowing day look that can easily transit into a night look. Masterclass also offered the session of how to use makeup to achieve a beautiful everyday look that can be duplicate each day. Paula also revealed the new makeup beauty trends & tips for 2020. Competition for Global makeup artists had to showcase the “Best Fashion Look” and the “Best Bratz Look”
Art Two international artists were guest of honour, Thomas Salamonski (Austria) aka Salamonski ART who displayed incredible paintings of vibrant colors and inspirational portraits of Hollywood celebrity and animals. Second artist Raouf Meftah (Monaco) aka Art Calligraphy Meftah who attended as a Jury Member representing the Monegasque National Committee of the international Association of Plastic Arts from UNESCO AIAP of which he is a distinguished member, five times awarded by UNESCO
Salamonski ART (Austria) – Thomas Salamonski is a contemporary artist, marvellous Austrian painter and a photographer. He presented his latest works in the exhibition series “Squared Faces” at the WFFA Dubai. The series was first successfully presented in Vienna as part of a vernissage and subsequent exhibition to a broad art-interested audience. Since then, more new paintings have been born and artworks on animals now complement the colourful portraits. He was born in a family of artists - his mother, uncle and grandfather painted - and as such he played and worked with pencil and paper from a very young age.
Each piece of art shows a portrait with colourful glass designed in a such artistic style.
Raouf Meftah (Monaco) is a contemporary calligrapher artist,five times awarded by UNESCO and Raouf Meftah (Monaco) was a member of Jury at WFFA Dubai 2019. He uses the colors with his own soul and this reflectes on all of his extraordinary art works . He represents member of the National Monégasque Committee of AIAP at UNESCO MONACO and has made important Exhibitions in Tunisia, Egypt, France, Dubai, and the Principality of Monaco.
WFFA presented few wonderful international artists, singer Sonia Majeed, Anas Alhalabi handpan musician, writer/life couch -Darren Timms and writer/author Jassim Al Khazraji, combining music and literature from diverse background and beautifully presenting cultural diversity united under one umbrella.
Singer/ Performer Sonia Majeed A young aspiring Professional Singer, Originally from Pakistan ,based in Dubai. She is havinving a determine mind and has achieved many awards and success in young age, she is not just a singer but someone who would like to make difference in today ‘world with her positive strive. She is Global Good Will Ambassador and winner of International Peace Award, Best Singer from The House of Lords, British Parliament, Best Singer In Business Community Award, Best Emerging Female Singer Award & Women Empowerment Achievement Award Holder.
Musician/ Performer Anas Alhalabi Young sirian musician from Syria base in Dubai. He playes unusual handpan steel drum music. He is a renowned handpan player in Arab world, having a great talent and depth knowledge of music when he plays his instrument it produced an ancient yet but beautiful and familiar sound of rythym which could win anyone heart. On the stage of WFFA he opened up night with his unique sound of hand pan drumming which totally mesmerized the audience, complex technique of hand pan totally impressed everyone.
Darren Timms – Author of “The Journey Back to Self” WFFA was extremely honoured to have the extraordinary participation of Mr. Darren Timms and his new Book " The Journey Back To Self " Darren Timms launched his latest book “The Journey back to Self” on the stage of WFFA, aim of the book is effect on lives to motivate to rediscover oneself.
Darren Timms is a qualified RSCI life coach, NLP practitioner, hypnotist, and counselling psychologist who specializes in helping others become their greatest version. Based in the UAE, where he has a successful practice as well as being a regular contributor to lifestyle magazines in the area. Darren has an insatiable appetite for life and applies his infectious energy and tremendous knowledge to every client.
His expertise comes not only from books, from real-life experiences as well which he makes sense of things we do and what to do about them.
Jassim Al Khazraji- Author of – “Your Dream, Zayed”
WFFA was honor to welcome the beautiful participation of famous writer Jassim Al Khazraji, author of book “Your Dream, Zayed”! Jassim Al Khazraji (UAE) is an emerging and incredible writer who has dedicated his latest book ‘Your Dream, Zayed!” to the Father of the Nation, legendary Historical Personality His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founder of the UAE and eternal Prince of the Emirati Heritage. Jassim adores to write about United Arab Emirates not only as his home and birth place, but more because of his pride of being part of the generation.
During the Press Conference, the author shared with the audience the reason for being inspired to write this book, he confessed that he is a big fan of Sheikh Zayed legendary figure. He feels that he is also a promoter of cross cultural, friendship bridge between nations. He considers that books are the best ambassadors of Peace in the world, the reason why he loves to promote and publish in Germany the book of Jassim, it's because, German readers have the chance to understand the better way the personality of the new Golden Emirati Generation, born under the protection and support of the greatest personality of Arab World Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. From reputable artists to fashion designers around the World, the WFFA has become the platform for global talent , with the occasion of the "YEAR OF TOLERANCE" WFFA presented Incredible emerging fashion designers from 4 continents have displayed their latest collections and 30 models for 17 different countries were dazzling on the runway.
Head of Jury and Special Guest Fashion Designer – Mona Al Mansouri presented her latest collection on kaftan and bridal for adults and children It was showcasing splendid collection for three generations of women, highlighting the art and beauty in a magnificent style and stunning designs Beautiful model Dr. Mahima Bakshi from India opened the runway gracefully for Al Mansouri collection, the collection breathtaking, beautiful and royal.
WIP Academy (Romania) by a group of 5 young designers: Maria Birlea, Alexandra Sabau, Manuela Gulean, Daniel Ciprian Casian, and Luna Chiroaie presented their inspirational collection from nature.
EmulEos by Emily Prozinski (USA) was one of the biggest highlights of the Awards Ceremony night, designer was awarded by Her Excellency Deputy of US General Consul Mrs. Christine Lawson with the Trophy Award for the BEST Collection Spring/Summer 2019. Emily has faboud collection for WFFA audience of WFFA, her wonderful collection called BRAINSTORM, after presenting it first at the Paris Fashion Week, last week of September.
Coffarte by Roberto Caggia (Italy)
Roberto Coffart from Sicily, Italy. His hand made bags collection was amazing and unique. The hand bags were made by ancient stonemason sculpting in the stone of comiso, a very rare object part Coffarte coffees. The handcrafted technique came from ancient knowledge and passed to generations, made out of natural materials with new technology and modern style, collection was quite impressive.
Some of the designers enrolled and competed for the two categories of awards: BEST Collection and BEST Dress theme: BARBIE DRESS A Royal Adventure).
Another premiere this edition was the competition for children, where 30 young models and children designers have competed in various awards categories, as BEST Young Model and Most Popular Young Model. 1st, 2nd and 3rd most best and most popular children were awarded on the stage.
