Have you noticed that too?As soon as you go out on vacation you start loosing weight with no much effort... I tend to think it was because I walk more and I am not as stressed as at home doing my house duties. My mind is relaxed and I losten to my body messages more often... Let's see what the others think about it too.. source I'm trying not to lose/ gain muscle mass and I still end up losing weight on vacations even though I eat out with my family for almost every meal. I think it's because we walk so much, but I can't stop walking around! What's the point of vacations if you sit in your room all day? And I don't even exercise, I just walk, like any other tourist! I even spend two hours a day on a train traveling during vacation, so I don't even walk THAT much. -_- Typical food on Germany vacation: Croissant with butter, large cappuccino with full fat milk (Restaurant) Roasted beets in olive oil with a huge hunk of cheese, bread with tatziki, 4 thick slices of smoked pork with potato salad, beet salad, and regular veggie salad and yummy white dressing (all on the side). Sometimes dessert such as ice cream afterwards. (Buy food at local markets) Coleslaw salad and carrot salad with boiled nuts, pears, full fat cow yogurt ( no goat D: ) Or in Miami: Croissant with butter, coffee with cream (at same cafe) tomato mozzarella panini, banana (at restaurant, Peruvian which we ALWAYS go to) Some fish ceviche, some thick Peruvian cheese bun (instead of typical restaurant bread), roast lamb with blue potatoes and cheese souffle. If we want dessert, my dad and I split one such as apple tart or "bananas tres leches" which is like banana bread pudding with bananas soaked in something (rum maybe) and some weird dollop of cream which is really yummy :P For us, we go out for almost every meal unless we are in Europe for more than a week, then we shop for our own to 'taste what the locals eat' It's really fun especially since my family never goes out to eat except for special occasions. We eat at home 95% of the time. SO... Whta do you typically eat when you go on vacation?
