wishing Ned Vorkapic to have a good trip to Maloolabah Beach with coffees and hot chocolate last night ... ( really a joke as this place does not know how to make coffees big time!!! :) hot chocolate was at least hot (temperature-wise that is!!!) and good though as per our friend's h.o. - cocktails go there like hot cakes too... but we do not drink - what a boring-pity-bunch-of-people for such place surrounded by best wines in the world!!! ) bring us good#QueensandWeather Mr Spinach! #MelbourneWeatherSucks

Cost - only $25 each, you deprive yourself of nothing and the pleasure is priceless of course.
we like to discover new places even if it is by accident... yesterday morning - with Masha and Glen at the Tomboy - just exactly like on the google photos: trashy look and that special atmosphere we all like, lots of young local couples having their free from work morning breakfasts, lots of laptop gurus who were swimming (I mean doing laps) and diving inside their computers and sipping coffees... (I counted 5 laptops in the area (or perhaps I am exaggerating) - it is almost quiet in the morning, it smells nice inside on very good coffee which is very important and the service is excellent - the three thoughts are not connected anyhow. I asked Masha and Glen why do they like this place - they said: exactly as I wrote above - plus it has a good food (their chicken paninis are the ultimate choice). They also added: we should come over here for dinner.
MY HUNKY DORY NEW
celebrating two Mishas' birthdays last Saturday at the Hunky Dory became a family tradition for years now and why would you change the place if everyone likes fish and salads and we could not find anything better?.. I also show the miniature watercolor drawing that younger Misha got from Masha; not many faces today as I have been strictly warned last year - food only! - and it is the best-est seafood and fish and the friendliest service in town when the cafe staff goes out of their way to accommodate our gathering - thumbs up to them! it is also always the busiest place I have ever seen... no wonder! it's#myhunkydory
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY RESTAURANT NEW review by Jennifer Zaman and Ashish Hussain
The General Assembly Located at the beautiful south-wharf, the last restaurant at the end of a long queue of most tantalising places to dine in seems to take one’s breath away merely by the scenic beauty it offers. The ambience inside, however, is quite simple and gives a sense of a country bar. This does not baffle me since this place is known for brewing and crafting its own beer. I could not tell much about the drinks they offer as we did not taste any. Being only occasional drinkers, we settled for Sparkling wine for the night. It was evening and the chilly Melbourne wind cut through us on our way to the General Assembly. We were happy to be there regardless of the weather outside. In order to warm ourselves up, we decided to go for a little starter to begin with before digging into the mains. For starters, we ordered a small share of Eggplant chips served with burnt honey, blue cheese sauce and Char-grilled quail served with skordalia, freekeh, smoked almonds and cress. The food was finger-licking good. We wanted to order some more, but, we needed some space left for the mains too. So, we contained ourselves at that. We wanted a little gap between the starters and the mains, which the staff happily obliged. The place seemed a lot warmer with the dim kind of lights merging well with the industrial interior.
For mains, we had Crisp-skin salmon served with smashed peas, freekeh, radish & charred leek salad and Char-grilled half chicken with roasted carrots, cumin & chickpea puree. We relished the food to our heart’s content even though we were more than full.
It was one satisfactory meal served with love and care.
Looking forward to re- visiting this place during warm summer days and dine outside by the picturesque dock and glittering water.
Highly recommended for food lovers who care more for the food than rich ambience!

THIRD WAVE PRAHRAN BEST DINNER AND BEST COFFEE OF THE MOTH
WHAT IS THE IDEAL CHEESEBURGER? ANSWER: your sesame-freckled buns should be soft on the inside but crispy-toasty on the outside, your beef patties should be juicy and should taste like good quality meat grilled to perfection, your pickles should be spicy and zesty enough, your melted cheddar should have a bit of smoky aroma and it should butterly-top the beef, your home-made tomato sauce ingredients should be a top secret but all the ingredients put together into one spectacular burger should taste nice and be full of flavour... oh yes, and let's mustard it... We all agreed that was the case when having lunch today at the Third WaveCafe 30 Cato St Prahran, VIC 3181 http://thirdwavecafe.com.au/ Would you like to try your classic naked cheeseburger for free to get convinced on its flawlessness? I am afraid you will be the loyal customer of the #ThirdWaveCafe after that experience.https://www.facebook.com/thirdwaveca…/posts/1207751282590136 (valid at two locations: Port Melb and Prahran) We also ordered: side salads. Alex said he never tried the cabbage salad this good. My green salad was simply terrific.

THE ORGANIC TRAINER EXERCISE TEA: BERRY AND HIBISCUS website
The Organic Trainer Exercise Tea ( Berry and Hibiscus) review The first moment I opened the box I smelled the aroma of real nature that brought me direct to my childhood when I had a fever and stayed at home away from school . I had nothing to do (as there were no computers at those days) and I suddenly had an urge to go through mom's cupboard. The chair was up and there I was: on the top of it an on my glorious journey that ( I think now) can only be comparable in imagination with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe... well, almost , as it was a Cupboard. I discovered lots of things I never knew were in existence including something my mom was brewing in the pure spirit (or vodka), horseradish, some grasses ( not teas, but dry leaves of something like linden or similar trees I have no idea what...) and there was a sealed box with the name: "dry raspberries for cold and flu " (and for those who stayed at home - I thought out loudly! - and searched the shelves). I opened the box with my little fingers: there was a package inside - I opened it too: the smell was so strong I almost fell off the chair. I tried one raspberry and it melted inside my mouth.... The second one was of different taste and sweeter and it went on my tongue too... The thread one - who knows what it tasted like as they all disappeared inside my mouth - hidden better than in that stupid box. Some of the dry berries had tiny stems but who cares - they also smell so strong and berry berry deliciously irresistible. I still can not forget this experience as I suddenly wanted to go to bed and sleep. When I woke up I felt so energised and I realised that my fever is gone. I climbed up the chair , sealed the box and never told my parents what happened. Later on they probably discovered the empty package inside the white box with the lovely picture of the forest organic raspberries all around it. Why did I start telling you all this story? Oh, yes... When I opened the packed The Organic Trainer Exercise Tea ( Berry and Hibiscus) my memories clicked and took me to the past. The smell from this tea is absolutely amazing and I believe this is the first and very important feature of a great quality products. You smell it and if your nose love it 0 follow your nose. Your nose is never wrong! It can differentiate the right product from the one your body does not need. Needlessly to say that when I brewed the tea it looked awesome - the color was absolutely stunning. The taste was delicious and very special, I understand now why all people who look after their health and exercise put inside of them the best food and the best products they can find on the market. I highly recommend the The Organic Trainer Exercise Tea ( Berry and Hibiscus). In addition buy the bottle (double walled glass flask which is ideal for drinking ) that will hold your tea fresh while you exercise. Drink it for energy and revitalising. The tea will support your active lifestyle and will give you that extra boost of stamina with all the goodness contained inside of it. the link to this terrific product. This tea can easily replace your energy drinks (esp the ones that come from unknown full of harmful chemicals ingredients) and be a good friend inside your training bag. Add to this " Australian made" and your friends will envy you when they see you in the gym. The tea you make will be sugar free too. The ingredients in the Berry and Hibiscus tea also have high healing properties to support the processes that get triggered in you body after your exercises. Some of the ingredients for The Organic Trainer Exercise Tea ( Berry and Hibiscus) are - green tea - ginger - tumeric - mint - hibiscus and much more. photos - credit to ORGANIC TRAINER INSTAGRAM
my experimental flavours: - turkey cutlet with teriyaki sauce - salmon portions with thai peanut sauce - chicken thighs in Maggie Beer BBQ sauce (that appeared to be quite berry-flavorish) all dishes went with baked potato and mixed greens and cranberries with a pinch of no-salt salt, pepper and sesame seed oil
no messages anymore! just pictures - oh well, I have done it again!

my obsession with flavours continues and reaches the point when Yoshi Lis' saying: " no more rice please, I will not bear it anymore for even one more day..." so here we went: - red wine and garlic beef; - honey soy and garlic turkey thigh; - BBQ sauce veal cutlets; - laksa with cabbage, mushrooms and prawns (the latter was not as good as I thought)
