Love - this is not necessarily related to a specific person; It is a setting, it is an affirmation, an orientation of character that defines man's relationship to the world in general and not only one "true" love.
If a person loves only one particular person and he/she is indifferent to the rest of the world, his love - this is not love but a symbiotic union.
Most people believe that love depends on the object, it is specific to the object and it does not exist on its own, there is simply no capacity to love without the object. They even believe that, if they do not like anyone except the "favorite" person, it proves the strength of their love. It is a confusion: you are oriented to the object. This is similar to the state of a man who wants to paint, but instead of studying painting, he insists that he just has to find a decent nature; an object to get an inspiration and to create, meaning that when it happens, it will be his time to be an artist and to draw, and it will happen by itself without his own involvement in the situation. If I truly love a certain person, I love all the people in the world, I love the world, I love life. If I tell someone "I love you", I should be able to say "I love you all," "because of you I love you the entire world, and I love in you, I love this reflection of myself in you."
- Master, you said that if I know who am I, then I will become wise, but how? - First, take away the people's right to decide who you are. - How is it, Master? - One will tell you that you are bad, you believe him and you will get upset. Another tells you that you're good, you will get happy as you will also believe him. They praise you and they blame you, they believe in you and they betray you. As long as they have the right to decide who you are or what you are, you do not have your freedom to decide who YOU ARE. Take that right away from them. Take it from me too.
