i am so excited i have such an opportunity to publish Karina and Denis photos from Ku Ring Gai / sydney & blue mountains album (absolutely great pictures - just the way we remembered Blue Mountains from last year and they make my heart sing... as Vladimir Vysotsky sings: "The only thing which is better than mountains

SWIMMING NAKED AT CAPE SCHANCK
a husband was asked once: "are you into any extreme types of sport?" - he replied: "well, i am married..."
to say it was my bad idea to go for a short walk to Cape Schanck is to say nothing. the storm started right on the beach when we reached the destination hoping the tiny drops of rain is just weather teasing - we were also sure we would have a papaya on the sand reward at the end...
suddenly the ocean waves became three times higher as well as the tide so we had just a fraction of a minute to cross the narrow point - same time again a couple of years ago we were close to our bodies be left there forever - well, our caps are still at the bottom of the ocean... quite a dangerous spot especially if you decide to climb to the black rocks for a swim naked in the isolated basins... - we need to know the tide schedule.
anyway the plan failed but the way back was quite challenging too cos of some slippery steps and washed off gravel and soil, the stormy and strong wind and our inability to cover ourselves at all: like seinfeld said once - you can not overdry something .. in this case - you can not overwet something which is already freaking soaking wet... and that was us rowing-swimming not in the ocean but along the path that turned into a small and [thank god] warm creek - back to the car... more to that - we were soooo dirty (literally) that we had to strip naked [no snickers too!] and i bet you can blame us for some cars taking it off the freeway as their drivers were shocked seeing both of us inside our car - Alex was partially covered with a woolen blanket we found in the boot though... what can you do?..
i would not call it travelling as it was a one day adventure but fun for the Jan 1st opening camping season... there is one thing Alex felt sorry - i did not take a photo of him being naked in the car - so no proof of my story this time... sorry...
