This is the natures ways: weeds are nature's daughters, but everything you plant yourself as a nature's re-creator are considered by HER as her step-daughters. Of course she will be looking better after her own children rather than her step children. I believe Mother-Nature knows better what should be better for her own children: to grow on this particular type of soil, to be watered and winded in the right way, she also knows better how to decorate it...

Something our daughter, Masha started finding out about recently is companion planting - e.g. plants like Marigolds and Tarragon are excellent and improve a lot of plants in general.
