The boys are bowling critics for six internationally with this recording – more than can be said for their beloved cricket team in the Ashes! Today's concert was marvelous - not even a quarter of a tone was misplayed - so rich the performance and so harmonically perfect the sound was. We listened to Bohemian Rhapsody (Freddie Mercury) beautifully arranged for piano/violin and cello are by a young and talented Australian composer Nicholas Buc (who also kindly greeted us at the reception)
; the second music piece played was Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven - this piece performed by them that had more than 9mln hits of iTUNES. |
The boys from the Benaud Trio (Amir Farid - piano, Lachlan Bramble - violin, and Ewen Bramble - celloare) are back with a new recording Bohemian Rhapsody (by prestigious Melba Recording), and were celebrating it at The South Melbourne Town Hall today in the morning – where they recorded it.
Jeanne Pratt (Victorian of the Year) was be Guest of Honour and spoke at the reception. I am placing a link for those of you keen to buy the new CD Bohemian Rhapsody: . One copy of the Bohemian Rhapsody CDs was given to Bohemian Rhapsody Club (what a coincidence indeed!) (signed as a gift by all three musicians-virtuosi) - the music samples you will have an opportunity to hear at our upcoming October concert where Amir Farid will be performing live solo piano.
