Ingredients 4 small zucchini or two large ones 2 eggs two table spoons of flour salt and spices olive oil
Wash zucchini, peel the skin off and put them into a food processor (large knife). Add eggs, flour, salt and spices. Mix well. Heat the oil in the frying pan, fry both sides like you would do with normal pancakes. Zucchini pancakes are very tender. They are good with sour cream and even with nothing on the top of them.Enjoy!
Grandma's recipe - Russian salad "Shuba"
3 large potatoes 2 large carrots 400g of herring 2 medium beetroots 1 onion 3 dill marinated cucumbers cheese 100g 2 eggs spring onion Real mayo salt, pepper, white vinegar, may be a bit a of olive oil
1. Boil and peel off the skin of beetroots, carrots and potatoes, Boil the eggs too. 2. Peel and wash the onion. Cut it in rings or just finely, Add some white vinegar and salt to your cut onions so it is not that bitter. 3.Prepare the herrings. It is better if you use file of herring so you do not need to peel and clean it, Cut the herring in cubes. 4. When the vegetables and the eggs are cooked and cooled down cut them in small cubes. 5. Take the large serving plate and put a layer of potatoes, then a layer of beetroot, add some Real mayo on the top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 6. The next layer: carrots, herrings and onions, potatoes, eggs and mayo, salt and pepper again 7. Last layer: beetroot, carrot, a bit of olive oil on the top and cover it all in mayo, Sprinkle some cooked egg yolks and spring onions and crushed cheese on the very top of you "cake" 8.
