zajka on the wall at Wabi-Sabi Café and zajki inside the Chanoyu Spa: my friend and I were really privileged to wait for the Chanoyu Urban Retreattreatment inside the cafe while it was closed till dinner time - very kind of the owners... well Katsudon (no photos this time) was also cold for the company but it was not anyone's fault. please note: do not try to find any connections between the art, the food or anything else like something hidden in this message - the connection is lost in translation. oh...may be this is the final link: my review of Chanoyu Urban Retreat experience is coming up soon...
IT IS AN EXPERIMENT NEW

WHERE THE KATSUDON JOURNEY ENDED UP NEW
I have no idea how that Japanese Katsudon was , I was told it was extremely bad, which i bought... (no!) but this dish from the next door cafe ( Smith Street Alimentari Collingwood) was out of this world... the mixture plate of four salads with some divine flavors: Farro, Cous Cous, Potato and Beetroot... but the best out of all was the painting of 9 running models on the beach.. I hope they wear Sunflair / Opera /Sunmarin / Olympia Swimwear and Beachfashion Australia ( Doris Jablonsky? - just a thought of you here... and I see us doing it in October) plus the recipes for the dishes on the menu can be found in the book... my challenge for today or tomorrow - write to the publisher Hardie Grant Books, ask them for the review copy and cook six dishes from the book... however... I had a hope the book could be received some other way: with my happy promise to mention the Alimentary place six more times in my posts of the dishes frm the book... for Bohemian Rhapsody Club and Online Magazine
THREE HUNKIES NEW
i was not 100% sure about that kelp salad but it was ok... seafood at Hunky Dory Fish & Chips with Yoshi Lis and I think I can recognise this left hand: Rouben Dickranian, it should be yours- no, not on the plate just next to it?..
i guess this is not that time of the year to mention "ice cream" of any kind (or anything to do with "ice") but the flavours at Mövenpick Ice Cream / Movenpick Melbourne Central are so unbelievably divine it is hard not to say "Si" - that's sampling I guess - and it is on the go: BTW, your Entertainment Book has two vouchers for the triple and double baskets and they will be half price - just check the pages and love your ice cream too no matter what the season is: https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 on the pictures below - sorry , we partially destroyed ours and there is also a nice watercolor picture of the puppy from the talented girl, the artist who was sitting next to us and who was very keen to share her album:
ENTERTAINMENT BOOK SPECIAL: TGI FRIDAYS Entertainment Book special yesterday: lunch at Tgi Fridays Southland / TGI Fridays the chicken is not meant to be boring at all with that superb Jack Daniel'ssauce which we both love - it is slightly turning into a tradition I believe with Natasha A for TGIs plus their mash is un-copy-able not mentioning the beans cooked to the perfection. I loved the company and our meal so did my friend lunch: $30 for two want to join us? get your book first and follow or steps: https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/182v887
somehow I knew these will be the best pictures: and who can say no to the cacti... when cacti say yes to you! before that day we also thought that burritos are made out of spikes... we also thought they would be so hot and feeling like you swallow the snake, the iron and the hedgehog at the same time... no, they (burritos if you forgot what I was talking about) are actually not hot - they are mild and taste amazing... bill: $17 for two for the biggest ever lunch (or should I say: avalanche!) at Bay City Burrito Hawthorn with Yoshi Lis spying for the Entertainment Book want to try yours? https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 but be careful the burritos are addictive like everything Spanish.
LONDON TAVERN " London Tavern Caulfield is the place to meet with friends, have a meal and enjoy a drink, all in a welcoming and comfortable environment. They offer affordable and delicious meals in the bistro and can also host your next function." - this is what I read after being there with Alex for our flounder lunch. I realized I did everything wrong: "meet with friends" - no tick (I met with Alex), "have a meal and enjoy drink" - no tick (no drink, no tick I mean!), but yes, the "environment" was ok - that is one tick. Our lunch $32 for two, the fish was out of this world - it was from the under-water world... still like it! why it was so special? we used of course our Entertainment Book and I figured out that Entertainment Book is using us in return (but all in the good way!) - we like to be used like that! buying yours? https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/182v887
Ingredients (all in raw form): 1/4 cabbage, the king of the table red bell pepper, thyme, radish raw mushrooms (king Pleurotus eryngii), green leaves, coriander seeds fennel, celery, lime juice, spring onions green peas, cucumber, pink himalayan salt, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, cranberries
went well with simple 1/4 of a chicken (bottom part of course) cherry juice and selection on cheeses (Serezh'as treat) including mouthwatering gorgonzola - the blue part is supposed to make your life longer but we ate everything - the yellow and the white too... so not sure what will happen now...
the talk after consuming the first two spoons:
NM: Serezh, this salad is very special and there is something I do not know what that gives it such a unique taste: peas?mushrooms? SS: It is salt AL: It is olive oil and lemon NM: It is no vinegar, the vinegar is absent SS: I guess I know what is the and special main ingredient now: it is called "vinegar absence" - this is what makes it so special. the absence of something - the absence of vinegar!
THE EVERYWHERE SAND The sand is everywhere: the noses and ears, the paws and shoes, the shirts, the pants and the car seats .., what else: we have taken the pieces of the sun with us too... At Mornington Peninsula - so glad the place is still there , the Manyung Gallery Group building is gone though, no castle not even one brick is left ... it was my fav place there...
IT COULD BE ANY COLOR
at the times when the food is green and amazingly tasty but the day falls apart, nothing works right, the thoughts are everywhere but not where they should be and the conversation does not "glue" it together...
EVEN THE BEATLES GAVE UP
..and who said you "can't buy the love"?
got freedom as part of the deal
but in reality he wanted (as all foxes do) just the Hot Roast Chicken (on the background)
EMPTY BRUNETTI sorry Brunetti, no coffee this morning, just my sparrow checking me out for the third time and yellow roses.

South Wharf Restaurants and Meat Market South Wharf Restaurant Bar presented #BurgerMasterclass with James Wilkinson who is THE HAT CHEF on Saturday July 1. Our VIP media crew was lucky enough to cover this event and share the press release with our readers. event review by Nadia Pleshkova (text) and Fabrizio Evans (film and editing) COOKING CLASS: BURGER MASTER CLASS WITH JAMES WILKINSON. THE HAT CHEF NEW review by Nadia Pleshkova
Do you cook from scratch when inviting friends over for dinner or does it depend on time, number of guests and your personal passion for cooking?
To boost up your interest and knowledge in cooking, we recommend you to join the Burger Master Class with a hat chef James Wilkinson at Meat Market restaurant/bar in South Wharf. Firstly, you'll get a clear idea how to make a proper burger. Secondly, you will get a number of useful hints and tips in cooking that are only known to professional cooks and chefs. For example: *Avoid squashing and squeezing your burger patty against the grill. Squash it after making its shape. *Buy whole peppercorns only and toast them before grinding.
In a highly interactive Master Class with James, he reinforces a few times: support you local butchers, who sell clean of pesticides and hormones meat. So how do you get your burger perfectly juicy and flavourful?
To begin with, get the beef chucks and mix 80% of it with 20% of good pork fat. By making your own burgers, you are in full control of seasoning them to your taste. Then, add salt and pepper (black, white or none - it's up to you) before grinding the meat. Form your patties from minced meat. Ok, you don't own the meat processor any more, ask your butcher to do it for you. That is all that's required for a good traditional burger patty.
When you deal with high-quality meat, there is no need for any other seasonings but salt & pepper. Lastly, and this is the chef's trick, rub your patties in oil before arranging them on a grill. Once the burgers are cooked, it's time to accessorise them in your traditional toppings like ketchup (buy a good brand) and mustard as well as the condiments of marinated onion or cucumber (see recipes below), lettuce and cheese. And vu-ala!
Don't forget your favourite beer or a glass of red wine.
There are two masterclasses per month run for the next three months at the Meat Market Restaurant followed by Terrain Master Classes LINK TO BOOK recipes:
Bohemian Rhapsody Club and Online Magazine expresses its special thanks to the chef James, to the organisers of the classes, to the marketing and publicity team and personally to communication and brand manager #ReneeKohncke at #HospitalityOne for the opportunity to cover these very spacial classes as well as to Fab and Nadia for fabulous and yummy video and review!
BLUE CASTLE DINNER FOR THREE Looks like dasha is ready :) she was the first at the table , always hungry , innocent and she can not hide it obviously
UNHEALTHY FRUIT SHOPPING this is the only reason to shop fruit and veggies at Parkmore Fruit and Vegetable Market : finally a new triple U radio station is on air broadcasting uncontrollably unvouchered unhealthy food for two of us!
dear man in the window, please stop laughing at me - I have never been to your country before and perhaps (even perhaps) I do not need visa to get to your shop meaning no one can throw me out of your country and I will have all your sweet nuts from the shop window till you run out of them... Frances-Ha! (the undateable girl) nothing like seeing your dream materialising so casually right in Carlton! :)
OPTOMETRIST EXPERIMENTS
usually at this time of the year I am experimenting with my lenses (read: eyes), LuxBite vatrushkas, almond croissants, coffees and colored plates and testing the tolerance (I guess) of the Luxbite staff looking how their salted caramel vanishing from the secret little jar only locals know about... sometimes I also feel i am one unbearable wife as he wants to drink his coffee and I still photograph... *unbearable (literal meaning): she has no russian bear next to her. what did I just say?
LEMON WITH TEA
at The Meat & Wine Co South Yarra - took a while to get the table with a good light next to the window ( my friend was rushing to the airport so that was an excuse to get the best one facing the night street - I simply said to the floor manager: "do you understand my friend will never see Melbourne after tonight and that poor table that you originally offered to us will be the last thing he will remember about this city!" - and she gave up!) - still not good photos! I feel hopeless when someone next to me can snap them in less than one sec, with one finger touch and they are better than mine - even when I've been arranging everything for 10 min... darkness, shadows and light reflections kill the photos, my "skills" and hopes for the better images... someone who takes better pictures is not sharing of course... but the EG tea w/lemon was shared generously and was refreshingly great!
BREAKFAST WITH A GOOD OLD FRIEND AT MONTSALVAT BEST LUNCH OF THE MONTH
at Montsalvat after checking the location for a new project - this breakfast was above the word "divine" - simply speechless ... We decided to keep his (and mine) identity incognito.
LADI-DI
at our super model, Lera Leshcheva's house with her mum Diana Russ ~ Ned Vorkapic ~ Yoshi Lis ~ strawberries , grapes , Ned's slivovica and red wine - biggest glass for Ned ever (!), cheese, coffees and Lindt white/strawberry chocolates, lemon and ginger tea, my cardamon lebanese coffee brewed by the secret recipe that brings the ingenuity of the conversation to the surface, клара голубятникова's grandma's pelmeni ( russian dumplings that apparently made Ned's day I hope as well as seeing so many gorgeous women in one place) apart from the horrible traffic on the way back - all was just perfect to the last word said! PS. I was stunned by the humble way Lera has reacted on her 11 photos in the Bellissima Bride Magazine to be honest - such an unexpected turn from such a gorgeous girl... my fav part of lunch: coffees, strawberries, our last conversation with Yura and Klara about human origins of course, the company and mama mia - t-h-a-t c-h-e-e-s-e ... :) Diana, thank you for your hospitality! you are the woman with the big heart indeed ...
NAPOLEON
my yummy post today is all about that French hero Napoléon Bonaparte and his cake, one of not many foods actually named after the NAME, not the SURNAME of the war general (compare Bizet, Pavlova and many others) . I buy mine at the European Bazaar Shop and they are delish. Where do you get your cakes from?
THE FOOD OF GODS
The Food Of Gods: Corn and Garlic Any scientist specialising in history of plants can tell you that some grains emerged on our planet at approximately the same time and it happened instantaneously. The grain-plants appeared without the medium hybrids and it happened in 7 independent places on our planet where the human civilizations were flourishing. The same places have similar stories about appearing of such plants and they also mention that the Gods came down to Earth and gifted these plants to them to be cultivated. These plants all seem to have the divine origin. Wheat, rice, grapes etc - they all had a very distinctive places of derivation. Can it be a pure coincidence? Could it be that someone shared the knowledge with the humans? But if yes, who could share such knowledge with people? What race was it? The most ancient plant of such is corn. The archaeologists found the pollen of corn in Mexico that was 55,000 years old. Who was growing corm before the conscious people appeared on the surface of our planet? Mayas were pretty sure that the same #God, Quetzal Koatl gifted the seeds of corn to people. Was this God in reality, an alien? If he was from another planet that means that corn kernels have alien origin. There are no such thing as a wild corn, nor there are predecessors of corn plant on Earth. But the most fascinating fact is that corn can not grow without human help. If you leave the field of corn for one year without collecting the crop, there will be nothing left the year after. Corn can not grow on its own, it requires human intervention in the process of cultivation. The corn if not collected from the field in time, would just fall down on the ground and rot. The scientists are suspicious that corn is a result of someone's very clever genetic modification. The genetic code of corn contains lots of mysteries too. What is the planet then where the corn kernels came from? Francis Crick and Leslie Orgel in their Nobel prize work 'DNA From the Beginning' tell us about some interesting facts about DNA and mention that the life on Earth was seeded (originated) from the other planets (cosmic gardeners who looked after our flora and fauna? the zoo keepers?) . Identifying the structure of DNA the scientists simply said : 'this is nothing like this on Earth' The cells that build DNA and RNA are created spontaneously meaning DNA is the basis of life that can exist anywhere in the Universe. Francis and Leslie also pointed to the place where we should look for a proof of our own, human origins too. Such place could be in the center of our Galaxy where the stars made out of molybdenum are concentrated. The scientists were sure that there is an oasis of life next to such stars. They based such statements on the chemical elements that are present in the human genes but are not common for any other life on Earth. There is only 0.02 % of molybdenum concentration on Earth. As a comparison of any other rare metals like nickel or chrome is 100-s of times more. But no chrome nor nickel are taking part in the metabolism of the Earth living creatures. The humans can not survive without molybdenum. There are only several places in our Universe where this metal is presented in abundance: Red Giants are very rich in molybdenum. They are the oldest stars in star evolution stages. When the Red Giant is dead it turns into a Black Hole. When the star is gone it "swallows" all the planets around it. It is considered as a catastrophe. Please keep this image in mind: dying molybdenum star, nowhere to escape, shall we seed a new life somewhere else?.. But keep it as one of the theories associated with human evolution, nothing else... But would that be a simple coincidence that many plants on planet Earth that "suddenly" appeared here long time ago and according to the legends were gifted to humans by Gods, have very high molybdenum contents. One of them are beans. We all know that soy, beans, peas and other lentils all have a very rich in protein. A scientific study of soy's DNA showed that it was changed 60 mln years ago. Would it be the time when the intelligent aliens visited our planet? Could they simply turn the wild plant into a cultural plant? There is one more for you: the youth and longevity potion was found in Tibet. The major ingredient of this drink is our common garlic. Do you know that some tribes were idolizing this plant? It was one of the major natural remedies in ancient Rome and Greece. Garlic juice was added into wines and the bandages soaked in this juice were placed on the soldiers' wounds after the battles. Garlic was always treated as a divine plant. Garlic was even mentioned in prayers and poems. Onion, Chives, Leek and Garlic are Alliums as we all know but do you also know that Alliums is the name of one of the ancient Gods? Where do you think Alleluia came from? :) Egyptians treated Garlic as a sacred plant and placed the garlic bulbs into the pharaoh's tombs. Garlic was considered to be a king of all medicinal plants in Egypt. It is even mentioned in the tractates of Emers and Avicenna. Some Egyptologists also believe that the Egyptian cross Ankh (crux ansata ) symbolizes nothing but Garlic plant which was considered to be a plat that could help humans to reach immortality. When you meditate try to visualize yourself inside the invisible energetic space of onion shaped cocoon. Imagine how the divine power and light is coming on you from the above floating by the surface of the onion-shape around you... and all the way down pushing you from down under. [ remember the Russian churches with cupolas are all built in the form of onion - is there a reason for such shape?.. ] The mystical Buddhists call this meditation a Golden Onion Ritual. It changes your metabolism and the garlic works as a catalyst - this one of the ways to immortality. This is also the perfect example of mixing magical and medical. [ BTW, the magical and medical were always spoken about together in ancient times but not now to our disappointment... ] Garlic is the only plant on Earth that contains germanium. We need this element for the right metabolic processes in our physical bodies. Selenium is also one of the elements that is contained in garlic plant. It is the element that prevents aging. Please note there is only one plant that contains germanium and only one species that require it - humans. The ancient people believed that Gods were the ones who introduced people to garlic plants. Garlic is the plant that eastern women used to provoke passion feelings in their men's hearts. There is a recipe for the girls: - 4 garlic cloves chopped finely - one lemon with rind finely chopped - 2 tea spoons of honey - mix well. Keep in the dark place for 10 days in the glass container. This potion of love has to be dissolved in water and drunk together: a woman and her man before the night of love and in the morning after the night. The drink is invigorating and is able to gift you many nights of passionate love making. Today I am cooking and making... ~ corn ~ a love potion (to be consumed together with your man/woman) ....and till the next time - good bye! Next time I will tell you all about the secret ingredient of the drink of immortality that the Transylvanian witch Florina gave to Paracelsus, a Swiss physician, alchemist and astrologer.... Actually I changed my mind: i cooked corn today which was absolutely delish... and i made my raw veggies salad with fresh big boy - garlic. it went very well with a kangaroo steak, parsnip and yellow and red bell peppers and Latvian rye from the European Bazaar Shop... but to my disappointment Alex did not say "the dish was divine" ...

EUROPEAN BAZAAR SHOP: A SIMPLE DELICATESSEN EXPERIENCE
girls (and guys) if you do not have time to cook - go to the European Bazaar Shop and buy shuba there. I made it myself because I had an extra hour in my life - a rare thing to have for me indeed... in the layers: ~ 2 white onions ~ 200 g marinated Latvian herring (from European Bazaar Shop) ~ a layer of mayo ~ 3 eggs ~ 1 small parsnip root shredded ~ 2 carrot roots shredded ~ a layer of mayo ~ 2 medium white potatoes shredded ~ three small beets shredded ~ a layer of mayo ~ green onion for deco - the already made shuba from European Bazaar Shop is a bit different in taste but is also very very delicious plus you save time! we eat with Latvian rye bread - it is so sweet (probably made with honey) - I only tried a couple of pieces - Alex asked me to leave the rest of the loaf for him - and usually he does not eat bread. you can buy varieties of rye breads at the #EuropeanBazaarShop from 1000am till 0900pm. I also made fresh raw salad and served with cheeses and tomato juice for dinner. The European Bazaar Shop has a variety of juices: natural pomegranate, cherry and strawberry - all made in European style.
ENTERTAINMENT BOOK SPECIAL: HUMMING LI THIS BIRD?
Entertainment Book special: at #HummingBirdElwood. our dinner $32 for two (using the 50% off voucher) and we both had the same thoughts with Alex: 'I should not have ordered the fish with that name 'hapuka"' ...and there are many reasons for that: ~ firstly there is no such fish, nor such name of the fish I guess.. if there is no fish, there is no name... if there is no name, there is no fish.. ~ well, I finely found it in the very very rare dictionary: "Hapuku or Hapuka, a deep-water Maori marine fish". ~ i guess the word itself was not right as this fish probably ate half of our portions that appeared extremely small on our plates - way too little for such price (I guess this is also cos "hapuga" means "greedy" in Russian) ~the french owner did not want to talk french with us. not sure we will go there again - the place looked empty and abounded by locals - the neighbours' cafes were all chocolate block full nevertheless the #HummingBird was full of people who were not there... the owner was preoccupied with his laptop not with his customers (3 or 4 there) - we talked and laughed that he probably was looking at the new recipes of hapuka-the-no-name-fish to surprise us... ~ no website either - very hard t check what they serve before going there .. .we were just in the area and popped in - otherwise we would not go there... ~ Alex was sad: he did not want to look at his plate... ~ and lastly, the food was extremely, and i highlight the word "extremely" tasty so neglecting the size we left full. ~ PS. finely, I figured out what PS means - no, it is not Post Scriptum as many would think - it is on the contrary: Pepper and Salt and it should be clean I guess. I tried to clean it - at least for the sake of good photos - not with much success. I guess no PS - no Positive Sound... me Profoundly Sorry...

Ned,happy bornthday, hope you love your presents!
GODS' FOOD: MUSHROOMS AND CACAO
Egyptian Queen Cleopatra conquered the hearts of the most powerful men in history of her time. She knew the ancient secrets of longevity and beauty. Her servants told stories about Cleopatra's perfumes and rejuvenating baths, the stories that later turned into legends. The only secret that was kept under many locks - what did they serve her at the dinner table - that remained uncracked. Nevertheless the archaeologists discovered the papyrus papers with the culinary recipes in one of the tombs of the high rank nobleman at the end of the 20th century. They were the recipes of the dishes that were served for the Cleopatra's table. Cleopatra personally was observing how the dish was cooked. They used: ~ red lentils ~ artichokes ~ onions, garlic ~ mushrooms ~ herbs and spices (to be added by the queen): thyme, kurkuma/tumeric, salt, pepper The dish was highly regarded and valued because of the mushrooms that Cleopatra preferred to the meat. At that time the mushrooms were only served to the tables of noblemen and pharaohs as they were considered to be the Food Of Gods. The Kingdom of Mushrooms is the most strange form of life on Earth. The scientists who work with the mushrooms call them the aliens and this is not the matter of speech as they really differ from anything on our planet. They are not plants, they are a separate kingdom, separate group of living organisms. Neither they are animals. They are the creatures that have most legends and myths told about them. It is interesting to note that most of the ancient civilizations thought that the mushrooms (Gods' kids) were given to humans by Gods. People believed that mushrooms grow in the places where the lightening from the thunderstorm hit the earth. Such legends were very popular among South Americans. They believed the mushrooms appeared in the places where Gods step on the soil. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mesoamerican's and Maya's legend says: once upon a time God Quezta Koatl fell in love with the Goddess of Moonlight and Jaguars Ixchel; she was also the Goddess of healing and medicine. He decided to make her a gift just to make sure she would continue to help people in heal of all their diseases. The tears of #Queztacoatl / Quezta Koatl once fell down on earth and the mushrooms grew in this place. God Quezta Koatl gave Mayan people almost everything. It must be true as according to the archaeologists Mayans were never sick. The mushroom that was given to the people was treated as sacred and was pictured on frescoes and on ritual ornaments. This mushroom grows only in one place on Earth: on a small piece of land in Brazilian forests. Do you think it was the place where the tears of Quezta Koatl were falling down? Doctor William Jay Sinden organised an expedition in 1965 to visit this part of the forest to get the mushroom and to study Agarika Brazilian, this was the name of the mushroom. His analysis soon became a scientific sensation. The scientist also discovered the ancient Mayan manuscripts. He also found the method of using the mushroom. It was collected by the priests during the full moon and then dried. Then it was powdered inside the stone bowl. The powder was added to the mais cereals; the dish was eaten by the whole tribe. The Agarik Brazilian heals the wounds and inflammations and slows down cells reproduction, meaning it slows down all the process in the living organisms and as a result it carries the longevity properties. Dr Sinden truly believed in the Quezta Koatl existence and the legend was taken by him as the undoubted truth. But what Universe did this God come from? And where did he take the mushrooms from that were so unique for our planet? The legend says Quezta Koatl arrived to Earth on the ray of the star. This God built pyramids in Yucatan in Central America and was awakening the dead people by laying hands as well as the other miracles. Why the mushrooms were so significant in ancient times? Some of them are really unbelievable! We well know the story of Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a famous Russian writer when after he was freed up from the Soviet Russia concentration camp in 1953 he was diagnosed with stage four irreversible cancer. The helpless medicine simply gave up on him. Alexander found the alternative doctor whose name was Maslennikov who lived at that time near Moscow in the village called Alexandrov. It was hard to imagine the village at that time in 50-s. The lines ad crowds of sick people to get to this doctor started from the railway station and went all the way to Maslennikov's house. They were camps set up around the village with the people waiting for their turn to see the doctor. As to Sergei Maslennikov story, he was surprised in his 10 year of medicine practice working in Alexandrov village - he has not seen one single cancer patient in the village among the peasants working there. The peasants, in order to save money on real tea were brewing a special tree mushroom: chaga. Chaga saved many lives. Chaga is also called a birch-tree mushroom. It is also called Russian mushroom. The Riussian magicians and healers used it from the ancient times. Chaga means a "prisoner-ress". The warriors who used their male power to imprison and rape young women were turned into trees with chaga growing on them. Dr Maslennikov read the ancient manuscripts to learn the recipe how to prepare the chaga but the recipe was practically lost. Maslennikov translated the papers written in Slavic runes and based on the knowledge created a potion from the mushroom juices that was close to the one described. Solzhenitsyn have not met the doctor personally but was given the instrutions by mail. The results were magnificent and as you know the famous writer was healed. Some scientists simply think the mushroom boosts your immune system but the real formula of its ingredients is unknown. There is one more magical mushroom that contains the best natural antibiotic. The Tea Mushroom it is called. This is a Chinese traditional drink. The tea mushroom is mentioned in the most ancient scrolls. The Chinese manuscript of divine energy and healing of Dr Vuu Sin has three parts: on mushrooms, on plants and on minerals. The mushrooms were considered by Dr Vuu as the highest in healing powers; the tea mushroom is called a heaven mushroom. According to the legend the crystal bowl with this mushroom drink was given to people by Atlantis people. The tea mushroom was used as antibiotic during the WWII. The scientists think that ALL mushrooms have high healing properties. Read my article from long time ago about it: http://bohemianrhapsodyclub.weebly.com/food-and-health-33.h… and http://bohemianrhapsodyclub.weebly.com/cooking-and-culinary… To say more the substances that are contained in mushrooms in abundance only empower each other when they are there together, in one mushroom. Russian raw cold marinated mushrooms (ryzhiki / redhead) were always considered as a natural remedy from all diseases. In China mushrooms are treated with high respect. Reishi is one of them; it is not a hallucinogenic mushroom. It uplifts your mood and energize you. The specialists believe that mushrooms' life is unknown and even that the mushrooms are highly intelligent creatures. They talk to each other. It is a separate civilization. It is a mushroom civilization. It might even be watching us! It might also be helping us? If you ever picked mushrooms in the forest you might have noticed that some days you just have mushrooms literally jumping inside your basket, but some days they simply hide from you. Mushrooms perhaps can even contact people. Mushrooms network / web the Earth without living a centimeters of space underground. This web is similar to our internet. They talk to each other through this net , they might even try to communicate with us in their own language. Do you know for example that some meteors contain mushroom traces, spores and formations. Does it mean the other planets where they came from also have these creatures? We do not know the origins of the meteors but they prove that there is a protein life somewhere in the cosmic space. When the Spanish Conquistador Hernán Cortés arrived to Mexico, the natives took him for their God Quezta Koatl who finaly arrived. The Spanish had white skin and the same appearance as the manuscripts said. The Spanish took all the valuable things from Mexican people. The main value was though the drink and its sacred ingredients: chocolatl from the tree teo bromo cacao, the Gods' Food. At the time before Coulomb's invasion chocolatl was everywhere in South America, it was the local gold currency. No event, be it political, social, religious or cultural took place without the chocolate. Poor people would drink the potions from chocolate once per their life time, sometimes more: at births, deaths and weddings, initiations, whether the richer ones had a pleasure using the drink more often. The old temple of the Montezuma King contained the hidden chambers full of cacao beans - that was the main treasure of the King. You could buy a slave for 1000 cacao beans. (1000 cacao beans make you one kilo of chocolate). As a matter of fact cacao was the most expensive out of all things that would be traded. This was also one of the plants given to the people by God Quezta Koatl. Quezta Koatl arrived after the major flood on Earth. The corn and cacao seeds were given to people at that time to save them from starvation at the times after the great flood. Quezta Koatl also taught people how to brew chocolatl, the Gods' drink. This amazing drink could make a God out of a common human. The method of brewing it was a real alchemical process. The sacred process of brewing the drink was passed from generation to generation. The human would turn into the rainbow bridge between Heaven and Earth after drinking chocolatl and could talk to spirits and expand his consciousness. The secret of making such brew included the special sort of the chocolate and even the place where it was grown as well as the additional ingredients and spices. Criollo cacao from Central America was used by Quezta Koatl for his chocolate drink. The sort requires a high humidity, stuffiness and no direct sun rays to grow. The cacao tress are traditionally grown in the plantations where the large banana trees cover the sun and create the shade and required atmosphere. The sacred chocolate drink recipe was again, lost and we only have a recipe which is very close to it. It could only be prepared by the highest priests: two handfuls of cacao beans, corn flour, chili and honey. The cacao beans were roasted in the copper pot, the husks were removed by hands, they were then made into powder together with chili. honey and water were added while the pot was on the very high heat; when the drink's surface turned into a mirror with froth on the top would appear only after the chocolate was taken off the heat, it was poured into a different pot and was taken to stay aside and cool down for a while. It is a very bitter drink and has nothing to do with the chocolate as we know it. The drink brings you energy and raises your physical body temperature. The drink was recommended to be taken by the warriors before the battle with the enemies when adrenaline rush was required. The drink is treated as a bitter endorphin containing drink in Brazil and Mexico to contrast the Europe. Natural chocolate is amazing for your health. When the Kings prepared themselves to the ceremonies and celebrations when their full power was required for all their priestess, the drink was consumed in abundance so they could stay awake and emotionally uplifted for the whole night. Norman Hollenberg discovered epihacetin in cacao beans. Stearic acid in chocolate cleanse your blood vessels but it is only present in the natural and treated correctly chocolate. Chocolate is the most rich product among all plants, 500-600kkal/100g. it makes your mind sharp and enhances your reaction. Phenylethylamine amino acid is produced by our brain when we experience a sexual excitement. Theobromin is the ingredient that corresponds with the good mood. They are all the ingredients of chocolate. Best chocolate is the no milk , no sugar but 1% of salt only plus that distinctive chocolate bitterness. Today I am cooking the special Quezta Koatl chocolate drink and the Cleopatra's red lentils dish with mushrooms. Till the next time: good bye! below: photos of Cleoparta's dish with mushrooms as per her recipe and my chocolatl formula as well as the best historical heroes images.
